About

Milk and Honey Media is a factual independent production company based in London founded by Lucy Pilkington. The company prides itself in taking challenging subjects and turning them into compelling, accessible programmes. We often work with A-list artists, as well as bringing fresh new talent to the screen. 

We have won major commissions from the BBC and Channel 4. More than half of our programmes have been shortlisted or won major international awards. We are flexible and collaborative with our broadcast partners, with a reputation for delivering the highest possible programmes for the budget.  

We are not afraid to take on big subjects and big stories and handle them with courage and honesty. Our creative leaders are equally at home being celebratory, and finding the story within the celebration, as in Get On Up, as they are with exposing and trying to get under the skin of wrongdoing, as in Cosby: Fall Of An American Icon. 

Our ambition is to build a new kind of production community where filmmakers who frame the world through fresh eyes can thrive and grow.
